A leading company in the distribution of high-tech products.

Needs Analysis

The company operates in a market that predominantly comprises international customers and suppliers. As a result, it became imperative for all members of the organization to possess fluent and proficient English language skills. Moreover, the company recognised the necessity of developing employees’ transversal competencies to be aligned with the newly introduced competency model.

Our solution

In order to meet both needs at once whilst optimising time and costs, we introduced a comprehensive course that not only provided language skills but also provided participants with essential transversal skills necessary for effective communication in different business settings. These skills ranged from meeting management and public speaking to PowerPoint presentations, providing participants with a well-rounded training experience.

Project development

We designed a modular program that could be tailored to meet the specific needs of different target groups. The project consisted of group Business English lessons alternating with workshops in English to train and deepen Model skills (e.g. Public Speaking, Time Management, Leadership, etc.). Thus, after studying and learning to use the English language, it was put into practice through the workshop. Theory and practice alternated continuously to make the learning experience effective and efficient. The focus was not on the mere grammatical rule but on its use in various professional contexts and the co-construction of different meanings.
